The suicide rate for First Nations vs. Non-Aboriginal is a lot higher, first nations have a higher rate of suicide.

3.  A report from 2000 from the Canadian institute of health, said suicide for youth first nations aged (15-24) was higher than non-aboriginals youth in canada by 5-6 times

4. 21.4 and 25.8 percent of men and women living off reserves but still first nations have a high rate of suicidal thoughts.

5. First Nations in 2008-10 show nearly one quarter of them who are adults at some point reported suicidal thoughts. And 50.7% first nations have high levels of stress and the rest of the population has 33.5%
